The short version: we don't collect your data.
ReadingQuick runs entirely in your browser. Your text is never sent to any server. We don't use cookies, analytics, or tracking pixels. We don't know who you are, and we'd like to keep it that way.
None. ReadingQuick is a client-side application. All text you paste into the reader is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to any server. We have no backend, no database, and no user accounts.
ReadingQuick uses your browser's localStorage to save your preferences (font choice and color theme). This data stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
We do not use cookies. Not first-party, not third-party, not any party.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any other analytics or tracking service. We have no idea how many people use ReadingQuick and we're fine with that.
ReadingQuick loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google's privacy policy for this service states they do not use font requests to track users or create profiles. The OpenDyslexic font is loaded from jsDelivr CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net), a public open-source CDN.
These are the only external resources loaded. No other third-party scripts, pixels, or services are used.
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent through our form handler for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list, and your information is not shared with anyone.
ReadingQuick does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect personal information from anyone at all, this applies by default.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page with the new date. But realistically, our policy is "we don't collect data," and that's unlikely to change.
